Hello there, Iā€™m Allison.

NYC-based storyteller and performer

Thank you for spending a moment to learn more about me!

I am a recent Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Michigan Musical Theatre Department. I earned a BFA in Musical Theatre, as well as a Minor in Performing Arts Management and Entrepreneurship and a Certificate in Leadership. I strive to ask questions, stay curious, and uncover the mysteries of the world around me through continuous learning.

I am currently based in NYC. I continue to study and hone my craft at Steps on Broadway, Broadway Dance Center, and Candace Goetz Voice Studio.

Most recently, I closed 60 performances as Francine Valli in Jersey Boys at Derby Dinner Playhouse. Earlier this year, I originated the role of Dixie Depraved in the first staged reading of Illusion: A New Musical at the Emerging Artists Theatre Off-Broadway.

The performing arts changed my life as a young person. I am passionate about providing arts access and education to youth. Encouraging the next generation of musical theatre students is a fulfilling way for me to contribute to the arts community. Most recently, I was privileged to teach and mentor youth at The Ramsdell Theatre.

While I am eagerly pursuing my passion for performance, I love fitness! You will often find me in the gym strength training or pedaling towards my goals at Cyclebar. I find joy in exploring museums, petting dogs, browsing bookstores, and sipping good coffee. I also work as a freelance writing consultant and editor.

Much love,

A
